All of these experiences have fueled my love for collaborating with others and exploring how media can connect and inspire people. One day, I hope to produce my own children’s show that encourages creativity, learning, and self-expression, and leaves a meaningful impact beyond the screen.
Outside of student organizations, I’ve also worked with Temple’s Center for Media and Information Literacy during 2025 producing the TUTV show Media Inside Out, supporting programs through the center, and helping organize the 2025 Children’s Media Symposium. That experience was full-circle for me as I first attended the symposium as a freshman, and it ultimately sparked my interest in the children’s media industry. Most recently, I was a Patient Media and Broadcast intern in the Child Life Program at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where I helped create therapeutic media experiences with patients and support in-studio production, technical operations, and segment development. Now, I will be resuming my work in June 2026 as a volunteer and continue to give back the CHOP as I look for a full time opportunity.
At Temple, I had the opportunity to be deeply involved in campus life through roles that combine creativity, leadership, and hands-on media production. I served one of the Social Media and Content Managers for the Temple University Diamond Marching Band from 2023-2026 where I created campaigns, produced short-form video content, and highlighted performances and halftime shows. In this role, I also helped the band secure a spot in the 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, which was truly a once in a life time experience. I was also the Co-Digital Executive Producer for Temple Smash, a student-run sketch comedy show, from 2025-2026 where I help lead digital content and work with the team to bring sketches to life and create moments that make people smile.
WHO IS OG MEDIA?
“OG Media” comes from my initials, Olivia Gomez! However, most people just call me Ollie. I’m passionate about creating content that makes an impact and I love exploring how media can spark creativity, inspire connection, and help people express themselves. Currently, I'm based in Philadelphia, PA after graduating with a degree in Media Studies and Production, a minor in Digital Media Engagement, and a Certificate in Children’s Media from Temple University.
